Before your employer can reimburse you through Expensify, you need a deposit-only bank account on your profile. Stephen Brown shows where it lives, under settings, account, payments, and walks through both ways to add one: entering your account details manually, or logging into your bank directly and selecting the account. Either way you finish with a short identity verification.

0:00 Adding a deposit-only bank account
Let's add a bank account to Expensify for reimbursement.
Going into settings, account, payments, you'll have the ability to add a deposit-only bank account. From there you have two options. One is to connect manually, where you would put the information for your banking account in manually. The other is to log into the bank account directly. You'd log in and then select the bank account for which you want to be reimbursed.
Once you do that, you will have to fill out some personal information to verify that you're the owner of that bank account. And from there you're done, and you have a personal bank account ready for receiving reimbursement from your employer.
